(Opening Memorial Ceremony and Memorial Symposium of CIGR General Secretariat in Tsukuba—Global Issues and Future Agricultural Engineering. 33-36, 2006.) Effects of Supernate Recirculation on Small-scale Starch Production Wenqi Li, Guiling Hao Abstract: Starch is the directly processing production of potato genus. This experimentation is aiming at the minitype handcraft producing technic in countryside of China . Special concern was given to improving the producing technic. In this research, the amount of clean water using, starch producing rate and its quality were measured. Further more, the content of Ammonia-N, Total N, Solvable phosphate and Total phosphorus, CODcr and Total solids were measured too. From the measuring result, it turned out that the starch waste water circulating not only could save the amount of clean water use, reduce the waste water drainage and increase the content of organic contamination in waste water, but the starch quality had little obvious influence. It made possible the starch waste water circulating used in the actual production line. Keywords: Potato , starch , waste water , circulating |
